xlinkit : validation engine
Systemwire's patented xlinkit Validation Engine validates data against business rules. Primarily targeted at complicated or frequently changing XML validation tasks, it supports internal validation and validation against reference databases.
configuring rules
The Validation Engine takes rules authored using the xlinkit Rule Workbench as its input. The simplicity of the graphical Rule Workbench bridges the gap between the business and developers. Rules can be edited, tested and refined in the workbench and exported to be applied in applications.
integration
The validation engine can be incorporated into existing systems and called directly through a flexible and easy to use Java API that includes facilities for pulling in multiple XML documents, relational databases and legacy systems for checking. Give the engine XML - as a DOM tree, string or file - and it gives you back an XML report. Straightforward integration is key.
flexible licensing
The Validation Engine is available through a number of flexible licences:
- Linking licence, per application linked to the engine, suitable for applications that are developed and distributed within the organization.
- OEM licence for software vendors who wish to distributed packaged solutions strenthened by the xlinkit Validation Engine.
- Developer licence, per seat, suitable for test harnesses and quality assurance.
